A lookbook is a selection of photos that introduces or reinforces a retail brand or store.
Lindsey L33 has been shooting lookbooks since 2011 and has art directed and shot series for over 40 brands.
ONCE BITTEN
Lindsey directed, shot, and produced the F/W 2016 lookbook campaign for Once Bitten. This is a digital series that was shot on location. Carousel Loungin featured one model and high-contrast flash lighting with head-to-toe style images as well as detail shots of the looks. The client wanted the poses to be inventive, but maintain a natural feel.
DYLAN WYLDE
Lindsey directed, shot, assisted with styling, and produced the S/S 2016 lookbook campaign for Dylan Wylde. This is a digital series that was shot on location. The lookbook featured one model and all natural lighting. Edgey with a bad attitude was the primary aesthetic that the client wanted to convey. The client wanted the model to be engaged, but apathetic.
SMOKE X MIRRORS
Lindsey directed, shot, styled, and produced the S/S 2016 lookbook campaign for Smoke x Mirrors NY. This is a digital series that was shot on location. The campaign featured 5 models, shot in natural outdoor lighting. The client primarily wanted to shoot rebellious kids being bad on the tennis courts.
DIRTY LEMON
Lindsey directed, shot, styled, and produced a summer 2016 social media campaign for Dirty Lemon. This is a digital series that was shot on location. The photoset featured 2 models, shot in outdoor natural lighting. Rebelliousness was the main theme of the shoot.
MAVEN BOUTIQUE
Lindsey directed, shot and produced the S/S 2015 lookbook campaign for Maven Boutique. This is a digital series that was shot in Los Angeles on location. The lookbook featured 2 models shot with high-contrast flash lighting. Maven (the client) wanted the shoot to feel more like an editorial than a lookbook.
AZUL BY MOUSSY
Lindsey directed, shot, styled, and produced the fall 2015 social media campaign for Azul by Moussy. This is a digital series that was shot in Marfa, Texas on location. The photoset featured 1 model, shot in outdoor natural lighting. Azul by Moussy is a Japanese brand/store that was launching their USA platform and needed social content. This series was shot throughout West Texas and highlights a road trip story.
UNDERSTATED LEATHER
Lindsey shot and produced the fall 2014 social media campaign for Understated Leather. This is a digital and film series that was shot in Bastrop, Texas on location. Go Your Own Way featured one model, shot mostly in outdoor natural light. This was the first lookbook shot for Understated Leather when they launched in fall 2014.
