UNDERSTATED LEATHER
Understated Leather is a retail fashion company based in Austin, Texas.
In less than three years of business, they have grown to have five additional fashion lines as well as a shoe line. Lindsey helped develop their current website, shot their first lookbook campaign, and produced the first three model product shoots.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT + DESIGN
As the first developer on the team in 2014, Lindsey designed, built, and developed their current e-commerce website. The original product offering was about 100 items, and now they have nearly 200 on their website, and close to 100 throughout other stores. The original website design was able to grow with the company and is still their current website.
PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY
The original product photos for Understated Leather were shot by Lindsey L33. The goal was to highlight the textures and materials of the jackets and to establish a minimalist cowgirl aesthetic.
RAPID SUCCESS
Understated Leather has achieved rapid success over the last few years. After launching their own jacket line, clothing line, and shoe line, they began designing custom pieces for Free People, Urban Outfitters, Revolve, and Singer22. They have accrued almost 43K followers on Instagram in a less than three years. Lindsey connected the brand with Emma Roberts, and she shared a photo of herself in the jacket on Instagram—the photo received 68K likes.
