PANDORA

DESKTOP + MOBILE DESIGN

The goal of the ProFusion iO Control Panel redesign was to create a design capable of being applied to multiple streaming solution services. The project began with Pandora for Business, but utilized the same structure for iHeartRadio for Business, and a few other digital radio designs.  It was a priority to create a design with the ability to switch out the service logo and change the color scheme, so that each had a branded feel.

This project focused on:

#1 responsive design / mobile optimized
#2 incorporate service specific branding / colors
#3 simplifying the current layout

MOBILE DESIGN ITERATIONS

The design was crafted with mobile as the priorityalthough it was also meant to translate smoothly to desktop screens.  These are 3 iterations of the mobile design each with additional client feedback and changes implemented in each rendering.

#1 This version was created with icons and the black and light blue color scheme.

#2 The next iteration removed the icons and utilizes the black and dark blue color scheme.

#3 The final version uses the grey and dark blue color scheme and adds arrow icons on the stations and main navigation, giving users the opportunity to see more information.

WEBSITE REDESIGN

JJLeathersmith is a leather accessories company based in Ecuador.  The original website was hosted by Wordpress, and it had a link to an Etsy store.  There was no e-commerce platform on the website itself.  Lindsey built the website on Squarespace, helped with branding, color scheme selection, as well as copyediting all pages of the website.  After the website was complete, JJLeathersmith launched a Kickstarter, and raised over $12K.

SOUNDSENSE

WEB APPLICATION DESIGN

SoundSense is a web application that can analyze the sentiment of songs from SoundCloud.  Users can search for songs and then review analytics that graph positive and negative sentiment.

The client desired an aesthetic that would complement the experience of listening to music.  For this reason, the background colors are intended to look like what one might see at a dance club.  The logo design consists of a human head and an eighth note inside the brainmeant to illustrate how music makes people feel.

SNAPS MARKETING

IDENTITY DESIGN

It was important to create a design reminiscent of the original logo, but with an upgraded feel.  Instead of a serif font, the new logo uses a wide sans-serif font that is easier to read, modernized, and will translate from web to print smoothly.

ORIGINAL BRAND

The client had not updated the logo in over a decade and wanted to appeal to a new crop of clients.  She felt that the logo was outdated and in need of a modern overhaul, so that she could be taken more seriously as a business.

LUX + LUZ

WEB DEVELOPMENT + DESIGN

Lux + Luz is a jewelry brand that was in need of an identity package and web presence.  The marketing and operations budget was low, so Lindsey built the e-commerce website off of Tumblr using a $20 theme and PayPal e-commerce services.  The result was a minimalist design with no monthly hosting or merchant services fee.

IDENTITY DESIGN

The client was inspired by the idea of two Siamese cats with three eyes.  Lindsey drafted a sketch and commissioned Anna Wanda, a french illustrator, to create a one-of-a-kind visual of the Siamese cats.  After she designed the graphic, the 3D effect and blue eyes were added in Adobe Illustrator by Lindsey.
